Driver Hire Training is proud to be part of the Driver Hire family of companies.
The first Driver Hire office opened in West Yorkshire in 1983, initially supplying temporary drivers to local transport firms. Since then, we’ve grown to become the UK’s largest specialist supplier of drivers and non-driving staff to transport and logistics companies, private fleets and the public sector.
Today, we are much more than just a supplier of last minute lorry drivers. With 25 years of experience and a nationwide network of over 90 offices throughout the UK, we offer a full range of recruitment services for both temporary and permanent positions.
It’s no coincidence that our staff win so many awards. Between 2005 and 2008 a Driver Hire driver has been named REC Agency Driver of the Year, and in 2008 our Driver Colin Ramsden was named ‘One in a Million’ – the UK’s top temp across all sectors.
These awards are great achievements for the individuals concerned and also bear testament to the rigorous quality and selection processes employed by every one of our offices. Our commitment to quality and service is underpinned by our ISO 9002 and Investors in People accreditation.
