Training Records

All professional drivers of large goods vehicles must have a Driver Qualification Card, or DQC. There are a small number of exemptions, but essentially if you’re driving an HGV / LGV (licence categories C, C1, C1+E or C+E), then Driver CPC is a legal obligation. Professional PCV drivers with equivalent licences are also required to hold a DQC.

With dh Licence Check, you can view the details of all your drivers’ training records, including CPC. With this information available to you in real-time, you can understand in detail which courses your drivers have taken. This helps you to ensure that your drivers are fully compliant and have been trained to the standard that your business requires.

In addition to training records, the online system will also show you real-time tachograph information, direct from the DVLA. You can also set up bespoke alerts – such as an alert to inform you that a tacho card is due to expire. The dh Portal user can raise the alert with the driver from the dh Portal platform, allowing for a fully transparent audit trail of issues, ensuring your business remains compliant.
