Alongside quality training, we offer a relaxed but professional atmosphere with the ultimate aim of ensuring all our trainees end the day with existing knowledge updated and refreshed. And, depending on the course, perhaps having learnt some new skills too.
Melvyn Reeves is one of the most experienced and highly regarded trainers in our network. Not only does he train drivers, Mel also trains other Driver CPC trainers. A former transport manager, Mel has developed a wealth of knowledge after a lifetime’s career in the industry.
We offer an extensive choice of courses. Most popular is Driver Hours, but you can select from 18 others! They include Fuel Efficient Driving, Van Smart, Digital Tachographs, and Emergency First Aid. Courses last 3.5 hours – with the exception of Van Smart, Emergency First Aid and Safe Urban Driving – which are full-day. Courses take place on a weekly basis once a month.
We can accommodate smaller groups of up to six at our office in the Anglesey Business Centre. For larger groups (up to fifteen) there is a dedicated training room in the Business Centre. We’re equally happy to come to your depot if that suits you better but please note that we’d normally look for a minimum of ten people for offsite training.
For all ‘home-based’ training courses; tea, coffee and biscuits are freely available. However, if you are spending the whole day with us, we don’t provide lunch. There are plenty of sandwich shops and other takeaways within easy walking distance.
The Anglesey Centre has plenty of free on-site parking. If the car park is full you can park on adjoining streets.
