Dealing with On-Road Occurrences

About the only certainty for people who work on Britain’s roads is that from time to time, ‘stuff ’ happens! Knowing how to deal with on-road occurrences, be that a delay, an accident or even just a DVSA check, is vital for the professional driver.

The course includes:

  • Dealing with accidents and emergencies
  • Personal safety and security
  • Dealing with roadside conflict and road related stress
  • How to handle a roadside check

Course objectives:

By the end of this session, drivers will be aware of situations that may arise on the road, and identify their causes. Drivers will have an understanding of how to deal with the unforeseen circumstances and have learned steps that can be taken to avoid them occurring in the first place.

Course Duration – 3½ hours
This course can be combined with any of our other 3½ hour courses to complete the required 7 hours of Driver CPC training.
