The truth is that both the rules and the people who enforce them are simply aiming to guide and protect you and other road users. This course will help you understand the how and why of road traffic laws.

The course includes:

• The ‘who’s who’ of Road Traffic Law
• The Highway Code
• Driving licences: entitlements, renewals and offence codes
• The Operator Licence and the Operators Compliance Risk Score
• Vehicle safety, weights and dimensions

Course Objective

By the end of this session, drivers will have gained a solid understanding of who does what in Road Traffic Law, and examined a wide range of rules that must be adhered to whilst out on the road.

Course Suitability

This course is suitable for both HGV and PCV licence holders

Module Duration – 3½ hours
This module is combined with another of our other 3½ hour courses to complete the required 7 hours of Driver CPC training.
