Vulnerable Road Users – Available Online

Driver CPC (Available online)

We all have a responsibility to ensure the safety of Vulnerable Road Users.

This includes new drivers, cyclists, motorcyclists, pedestrians, young persons and equestrians. In 2014 there were 35.6 million licensed vehicles on UK roads and 1,775 road related deaths – so while road safety in Britain has improved dramatically over the years, there is still more that can be done.

The course includes:

  • Introduction
  • Current standards addressing Vulnerable Road Users
  • What hazards do Vulnerable Road Users face?
  • Driving safely
  • Fleet safety
  • Driver and employer responsibilities
  • Vulnerable Road User responsibilities
