Driver Hire Training serves an ace for driver assessments

A squad of Driver Hire trainers have successfully assessed almost 300 VIP drivers, chosen to support one of our prestigious clients in the build up to one of UK’s major Summer sporting events.

The assessments were carried out, as part of their Drivers’ Induction Programme, by a group of highly experienced trainers; Chris Tabak, Bill Brightmore, Dominic Pargeter, Darren Geerearts, Tracey Lightning, Dawn Moss and Martin Cook (pictured left to right) and Atul Ravalia.

Each worked long hours and in high temperatures in order to assess the members of the public that have been selected to drive players, VIPs and officials during the tournament.

Drivers came from a variety of backgrounds, many of whom have returned time and again to take the wheel and offer their services to ensure the passengers arrive safely at their destination. Driver Hire’s Training team assessed their ability to drive in a courteous and controlled manner, maintaining good safety distances, adherence to speed limits, whilst giving their passengers a smooth comfortable journey.

The level of enthusiasm from the drivers was amazing, they all wanted to do the very best they could and were pleased to have the opportunity to spend time with our trainers, learning new tips and techniques to enhance their driving abilities.
