James is now truckin’ with Driver Hire

Driver Hire Training has forged a link with the increasingly popular Youtuber, James Eaton. His weekly YouTube update, ‘Truckin’ with James’, is about his life as an HGV driver working in the South West of England. It has 16.7k subscribers and regularly attracts 1.4m views.

Topics covered by James include licence acquisition, Driver CPC, load safety, and “Don’t trust your SatNav”. His most popular to date tells the story of his second encounter with a roadside DVSA check. Needless to say, an initially nervous James came through tacho and mechanical checks on his HGV tipper lorry with flying colours.

“Like thousands of others, I first came across James on YouTube,” says John Keelan- Edwards, Driver Hire Training’s Director. “He’s very personable. His short videos are entertaining whilst putting over a strong message about professionalism within the industry and the importance of good, ongoing, development and training. He’s a great industry influencer so we decided to contact him to see if we could work together.”
